In this episode, we talked with Dari Weissman, a young professional with a passion for pups. Being the COO of Keys & Collars, a local pet-sitting company in Volusia County, and having two doggos of her own, she is a huge supporter of all animals both in and out of the community.

Dari’s Furry Family Members
Every pet owner knows the struggle of living in a home or community that is not welcoming to their furry family members. Dari told us about her experience building with ICI Homes in Mosaic, where she was able to customize her home to fit the needs of her and her two pups, Bolt and Ollie.
“I have a dog bath station, I have a fenced yard. That was a big thing for me” she explained “making sure it wasn’t just my home but their home as well.”
But it’s more than just the home, it’s the pet lifestyle in Mosaic. As a dog owner, being able to take your pet for a walk in the neighborhood to see the same friendly paws and faces on a regular basis is something beyond compare.
“That’s been very nice,” Dari commented, “to be in a community that’s like so inclusive of all the different animals.”
Pet lifestyle events
At Mosaic, we support local businesses by teaming up with them for a wide variety of lifestyle events throughout the year. Dari mentions one event in particular where she gets to mesh Keys & Collars, her pets, and her community all in one place – Pet Palooza.
Pet Palooza is a public event where the community comes together with fur babies in tow to join the residents at Club Mosaic for the ultimate pet party complete with music, pet vendors, and even a pet costume contest all in support of the Halifax Humane Society.
