The convenience meter just keeps rising for Mosaic residents, who already enjoy plenty of nearby shopping, services and dining options. Now, there’s more on the way.
It seems as if a restaurant, store or specialty retailer opens by the day along the commercial corridor at the intersection of LPGA Boulevard and Interstate 95 in Daytona Beach. That’s awesome news for Mosaic, due to the fact that it lies only a few miles west of that major exit.
Most of the consumer growth is situated on the east side of the LPGA-I-95 exit. If you’re inclined to shoe-shop, meet friends for happy hour, or stock up on household goods, it’s only minutes away. This is certainly close enough for convenience, but not too close for comfort. You won’t have a shopping center in your lovely backyard here at Mosaic.
Seriously, your choices are multiplying rapidly these days, a trend that’s great for neighboring communities such as Mosaic, and the city of Daytona Beach. There’s exciting growth everywhere in this part of east central Florida.
Allow us to update you on nearby retail growth and resources for Mosaic residents.
First up, the grocery stores
Got to have them, right?
The Publix supermarket one exit north, in Ormond Towne Square at the intersection of Granada Avenue (U.S. 40) and Williamson Boulevard, likely fuels many Mosaic residents. It’s located approximately six miles from our neighborhood — hardly a trek, we know — but, good news! Soon, there will be a much closer Publix.
It’ll anchor a new shopping center only three miles north of Mosaic, on LPGA Boulevard. This new 48,000-square foot Publix is scheduled to open in mid-2019, along with an adjacent 14,000-square-foot Publix Liquor store.
Next up? A projected shopping center on the northeast corner of the Williamson Boulevard-LPGA intersection will feature a to-be-named specialty grocery store.
For bulk shoppers, an under-construction Sam’s Club soon will open on the east side of I-95, just north of Tanger Outlets.
Everything else – more Daytona retail growth
It’s a grab bag because so many different businesses and service providers are busting this northwest corner of Daytona Beach wide open!
Not only is Mosaic a prime master-planned community in a prime location, it’s been thoughtfully sited to take advantage of all this retail and commercial development now, and in the future. Mosaic residents can pop across I-95 and shop, dine, play or even work at numerous places. Or, hop on I-95 and conveniently scoot north or south to other locations.
Recent new restaurants include Dave & Buster’s (and all its fun games), Arby’s, Culver’s (yummy frozen custard) and Blaze Pizza. Watch for a new Texas-based convenience and gas station complex called Buc-ee’s, a new Stor-It Self-Storage and a new corporate headquarters for Costa Del Mar (or better-known Costa) sunglasses.
Trivia time: did you know DAB is “Costa’s” hometown? Now you do.
